SPPEEx OUT & ABOUT: Nitesh Prasad & Maria Eliza

Auckland_City_Council_Soccer_TeamSPPEEx board members and football fanatics Nitesh Prasad and Maria Eliza are looking forward to the 2011 OPUS-GHD Inter Engineering Soccer Championship Tournament.  Together with Ravi Kumar (Sky Television) and Tom Van Deelen (Opus) they are the team behind the scenes running the tournament this year.

 

 

 

An 11 aside soccer tournament between various engineering firms run over seven weeks.  In its third year running, this annual event has gained in popularity with restrictions having to be placed on the number of teams permitted. 

With a Championship trophy and bragging rights up for grabs the competition begins 12th September with weekly games played in a series of five round robin games.  The sixth week being quarter finals and seventh week being the semis and finals play offs.  Games will be held at Bill McKinlay Park, Ireland Road, Panmure
