Last year we mentioned that Futureintech Ambassador and SPPEEx member - Dhirendra Singh was involved in a Transpower Neighbourhood Engineers project.

Dhirendra was involved in helping students design a fitness trail for their school. We are pleased to know that in the Middle School category, the top prize went to Papatoetoe Central for their Fitness Trail project. Senior structural engineer and Futureintech Ambassador Dhirendra Singh from Beca supported the Year 4 and 5 students as they took measurements, identified budgets, and managed property and legal requirements. SPPEEx would like to commend Dhirendra for taking time to invest in the minds of future engineers and setting a great example of how engineers can get involved in their communities.
