Stantec and SPPEEx invite you to an evening of connection, culture, and collective learning on Thursday 27 August 2026.
What does it mean to lead, contribute, and create impact as Te Moana-Nui-A-Kiwa?
At last year’s session, we explored strength through leadership, grounded in the whakataukī “Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou, ka ora te iwi” (With your food basket and my food basket, the people will thrive).
This year’s Stantec x SPPEEx event builds on that foundation by celebrating the collective strength of Te Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa. Together, we will explore how our cultures shape the way we lead, collaborate, and support one another, drawing on our shared experiences and knowledge to strengthen communities and create a more resilient future.
For the engineering profession and wider workforce, this kaupapa highlights that meaningful progress comes through inclusive leadership, diverse perspectives, and genuine collaboration. Like a woven kete, our greatest strength lies in the many skills, cultures, and experiences that come together to create lasting social, environmental, and economic value.
