He kura nā Rātā, he kura pūkaha is a national wānanga celebrating the past, present and future of Māori in engineering. Delivered by Te Mana Kiwi SPPEEx in partnership with Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau, the wānanga creates a kaupapa Māori space grounded in whanaungatanga, mātauranga Māori and professional excellence.

Following a successful return in 2025, the wānanga will be held again in November 2026 in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), bringing together Māori engineers, leaders, students, allies and organisations from across Aotearoa to connect, learn and shape a more inclusive profession.
