KICKSTART 2012: SPPEEX WATER CHALLENGE

Hi all -

To kick-start 2012, SPPEEx will be taking two teams of four to the
OXFAM WATER CHALLENGE on Saturday 17 March, 2012 at Milford Beach
Takapuna, Auckland.
WaterdropletThe Oxfam Water Challenge is a fun relay
style race celebrating World Water Day
and raises vital funds for Oxfam's Water
for Survival work, helping some of the
poorest communities in the Pacific to
access life saving clean water and sanitation.
Each team will carry 20 litres of water
across a fun filled relay course. Why 20 litres? Because it is common for
women and children in developing countries
to carry up to 20L of precious water long
distances each day, for their family's
basic needs. JOIN US! Take on the challenge - Be part of the SPPEEx team for 2012 !! It's a great way to be actively involved in a charitable drive aimed at
helping our pacific communities. Not to mention a great occasion to come
together to support our SPPEEx teams in the cause and enjoy a few
laughs as our teams stumble through the relay course!! Sign up today and register your interest BEFORE NOVEMBER 29, 2011. By registering early we'll be able to provide SPPEEx members with discounted and
subsidised entry fees and printed t-shirts for the event. But be quick!_ There are only 8 participating positions on the two teams.
We are also recruiting for our very own SPPEEx Cheer Leading team to make use of
those with talents in other areas!! Watch this Space - It's going to be a great start to 2012!! ROSEANNE LEAUPEPE SPPEEx Executive Officer Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
